M.R. James, considered one of England’s greatest ghost storytellers, once said that a ghost story should leave the listener with a sense of pleasing terror. The Pleasing Terrors Podcast seeks to honor that sentiment by telling true stories that are imbued with elements of mystery and suspense. The show often features episodes that combine history, true crime, the paranormal and folklore woven together in such a way as to make even familiar stories seem strange and unsettling.
