The Mad Scientist Podcast is a show that attempts to answer the question: Why do people choose to believe what they do? Does the fact that our myths and legends keep repeating suggest something ingrained psychologically about these topics, or is the historical continuation of these ideas proof of their existence? Can science answer questions about the paranormal, or are the two worlds meant to be completely separate? And what does science have to say about things like ghosts, bigfoot, ancient aliens, and other things that go bump in the night? In merging hard science, philosophy, and humor the Mad Scientist Podcast hopes to entertain and educate on these sometimes difficult questions, and the science behind the weird stories we grew up with.
It’s great to find a spooky/weird topic podcast that looks at events from a scientific and skeptical point of view without being dismissive at all.Strange Animals PodcastListener
Great research goes into this! Topics are beyond the typical spooky and verge into the dynamic, scientific, and interesting. Definitely unlike anything you’ve heard lately.TeaspoontessyListener
